DISCOVERING COMPETENCIES: DEVELOPMENTAL MUSIC THERAPY WITH CHILDREN WITH A GENETIC SYNDROME
Children with genetic syndromes often show multiple problems in development. Using developmental music therapy, we often work with these children with in the area of interactive competencies. This paper will discuss this type of therapeutic approach using an example of music therapy over time with a girl with Rett Syndrome.
